It's meant to be a pretty calming environment and often people fall right asleep during treatment.

Hello, I’m Bria Goodreid, a registered acupuncturist and proud owner of Rooted Rose Community Acupuncture.

In my practice, I frequently work with acute injuries and chronic pain. I have an interest in sports medicine acupuncture which is based in orthopedics and used to address muscular and structural imbalances. Additionally, I have a strong passion for supporting mental health, particularly in areas like anxiety and PTSD.

My journey into acupuncture began in my early twenties after a challenging surfing accident that left me with several cracked ribs and a separated shoulder. I tried numerous therapies but it was acupuncture that truly helped me regain mobility and find relief.

I am dedicated to providing a safe and affirming space for all. I firmly believe health can be achieved at all sizes, and I do my best to ensure that this is a body-neutral, inclusive space.

At Rooted Rose, we use zero-gravity chairs for our community treatments (which can accommodate bodies of up to 500 lbs) and use standard size massage tables during private treatments (which can accommodate bodies of up to 350 lbs). Please let us know if there are any accommodations you may need.
